How do I pay my Florida Power & Light bill?

Pay online FPL offers its customers an online account service. You can view your bill history online and make payments from your bank account. There are no fees. Pay by phone: The Florida Power & Light billing telephone number is 1-800-226-3545. Residential customers can use this 24/7 Pay by Phone service. This service allows funds to be transferred from your checking account.
You can pay by mail FPL, General Mail Facility. Miami, FL 33188-0001. This is the Florida Power & Light payment address. Only money orders and checks are accepted. Pay in person: Include your payment coupon and the FPL account number along with any check/money order.
Pay in Person You can pay your Florida Power & Light bill at any of the authorized third-party Pay Agents. You can use the interactive map on the FPL website, or call 1-800-226-5885. At certain locations, a $1 fee might be charged. FPL account, bill stub, and FPL account numbers are required.
Account Opening and Closing
Florida Power & Light offers online services that allow you to create a new service or stop an existing one. You can also transfer a service. For opening a new account you will need to provide your social security number, service address and other information.
A deposit may be required when opening a new bank account. It all depends on your credit history. The deposit amount is equal to two months of suspected occupied home electrical use. If your account is in good standing and has been open for more than 23 months, your deposit will be refunded. An unconditional guarantee / guarantor is available for certain applicants.
